About Humana People to People India (HPPI)
Humana People to People India (HPPI) is a national development organization working to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable communities through community-based, people-centred interventions. HPPI partners with government agencies, development partners, and local communities to implement programs in health, education, livelihoods, environment and community development. The SWASTHYA Haryana Project will improve screening coverage among vulnerable populations, increase identification of people with presumptive TB , strengthen referral pathways, improve the operational efficiency of HHX deployment, and build the capacity of frontline health workers for long-term implementation.
Position Summary
HPPI is seeking qualified Radiographers to support mobile digital chest X-ray screening camps under the SWASTHYA Haryana Project. The selected candidates will operate portable digital X-ray equipment during community outreach activities and work closely with project staff, and National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) teams.

Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum one year of experience in operating portable or handheld X-ray systems.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection prevention practices.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned district.
• Experience working in tuberculosis, public health, or community health projects.
• Familiarity with NTEP guidelines and digital health reporting platforms.
Required Skills
• Strong technical skills in radiography.
• Ability to work independently in community settings.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate portable digital chest X-ray equipment during field screening camps.
• Ensure proper people positioning and acquire high-quality chest X-ray images.
• Always follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
• Coordinate with HPPI field teams, District TB Cells, and local health facility staff during screening activities.
• Upload or transfer X-ray images to the designated reporting platform as per project protocols.
• Maintain daily records of screened beneficiaries and equipment usage.
• Report equipment malfunctions or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure proper handling, care, and security of X-ray equipment during field deployment.
• Support community screening activities as assigned by the District Team Leader.
• Perform any other duties related to project implementation as assigned.
