• Position: Sr Manager – Resource Development
• Location: Patel Nagar, Delhi

Descriptions for the role:
As a Sr. Manager – Resource Development, you will be responsible for developing and managing donor relationships, driving fundraising initiatives, and supporting the organization’s resource mobilization strategy. The position requires a strong combination of relationship management, fundraising expertise, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to increase donor engagement, retention, and overall fundraising outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Relationship Management:
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with individual, corporate, institutional, and philanthropic donors.
• Manage communication and engagement strategies for key donors, ensuring personalized and meaningful interactions.
• Identify donor needs, understand their interests, and align them with relevant programs and initiatives of Sewa International.
• Handle donor inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of donor satisfaction.
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization:
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve annual resource mobilization targets.
• Identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities across individual giving, corporate partnerships, CSR, foundations, trusts, and institutional donors.
• Build and maintain a strong fundraising pipeline and regularly track prospects, proposals, commitments, and conversions.
• Support the development of multi-year partnerships and strategic funding relationships.
Corporate & Institutional Partnerships:
• Research and identify prospective CSR partners, foundations, trusts, and other institutional funders.
• Coordinate with program and finance teams to ensure accurate proposals, budgets, impact reports, and utilization updates.
Team & Cross-functional Coordination:
• Work closely with program, communications, finance, and leadership teams to develop effective fundraising propositions.
• Translate program impact and organizational priorities into compelling donor-facing narratives and proposals.
• Support and mentor team members involved in donor engagement and fundraising activities.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or related field.
10–12 years of relevant experience in fundraising, resource development, donor relations, institutional partnerships, or nonprofit development.
Strong understanding of CSR regulations and corporate engagement.
