About the Role
SRET's Pre-Vocational programme brings hands-on, trade-based learning to students of Std 6, 7 and 8 across Agriculture, Trade & Technology, Machine & Industry, and Home & Health. The Project Coordinator plans, coordinates and supervises delivery across all assigned schools in Kalol, and is accountable for programme quality and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate programme activities across assigned schools as per the approved annual plan and lesson plan sequence
• Finalise trainer assignment, weekly route schedule and trade-to-grade allocation before the year starts
• Onboard every new school — principal meeting, agreed schedule, consent process — before sessions begin
• Build and maintain relationships with principals, teachers, parents and local stakeholders; personally resolve school-level issues
• Liaise with local education officials (DEO/DPEO or equivalent)
• Review the lesson plan tracker weekly and conduct regular field visits and classroom observations
• Monitor baseline and endline assessments for quality and completeness
• Submit progress reports to the Programme Manager and escalate unresolved issues within 48 hours
• Manage trade materials, tools and consumables; plan vehicle routes and school clustering
• Guide, train and give ongoing feedback to trainers; identify capacity-building needs

Requirements
• Graduate, preferably with experience in education, rural development or vocational training
• 2–3 years in programme coordination, field supervision or team management
• Proven ability to manage multiple schools, trainers and stakeholders at once
• Strong communication skills with principals, government officials and community members
• Willing to be based in and travel extensively across the Kalol geography
• Working knowledge of Gujarati preferred
• Basic digital literacy — spreadsheets, WhatsApp, data tracking tools
