Job Description – Reading Program Educator
No. of Positions: 2
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days/week)
Working Hours: 6 hours per day

Job Summary:
The Reading Program Educator will be responsible for implementing the reading program at assigned government schools and supporting students in developing foundational reading skills, fluency and comprehension.

Each Educator will be responsible for approximately 125 students across 2 or more schools.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct structured reading sessions for students as per the program curriculum and schedule.
Work with approximately 125 students across assigned schools.
Support students in improving reading ability, vocabulary, comprehension and language skills.
Conduct engaging and age-appropriate reading activities to develop regular reading habits.
Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate intervention.
Maintain daily student attendance and program records.
Track student participation and learning progress.
Coordinate with school teachers for effective implementation of the reading program.
Participate in teacher/staff training, review meetings and capacity-building activities.
Support library and reading-related activities wherever required.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Supervisor.
Maintain discipline and ensure a positive and child-friendly learning environment.
Travel between assigned schools as required for program implementation.

Qualification:
Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
Female candidates preferred.

Experience:
Prior experience in teaching, education, NGO programs, community work or working with children will be preferred.

Good Hindi/local language proficiency
Ability to work with children
Basic documentation and reporting skills
Teaching and classroom management skills
Willingness to travel between assigned schools
Patience, empathy and a child-friendly approach
