Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Pune

The Centre for Youth Development and Activities (CYDA) is a national non-governmental organisation headquartered in Pune. With operations across more than 10 states and a team of over 250 staff members, consultants and volunteers, CYDA implements large-scale development programmes focused on empowering young people and vulnerable communities.

CYDA is seeking an accomplished Chartered Accountant to serve as its Chief Financial Officer and provide strategic leadership for the organisation’s finance, audit, compliance and financial sustainability functions.

Key Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Proven experience in managing annual budgets exceeding Rs 100 crore.
Strong expertise in financial planning, oversight, auditing, risk management and statutory compliance.
Experience in integrating technology into financial systems and processes.
Demonstrated ability to establish and strengthen organisational corpus and reserve funds.
Experience in the NGO, CSR or development sector will be preferred.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing finance functions across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for CYDA’s financial planning and management.
Ensure timely completion of statutory, legal, donor and regulatory compliances.
Lead organisational and project audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Introduce technology-enabled systems for effective financial monitoring and reporting.
Strengthen financial governance across CYDA’s multi-state operations.
Develop strategies for building corpus and reserve funds to support long-term sustainability.
