Program Officer- Udaan Project, Wardha

Experience: Minimum 3 years in mental health/community-based programs

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate Udaan program implementation across assigned blocks and villages.
- Liaise with government officials, departments, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, challenges, and upcoming activities.
- Supervise and support field teams in day-to-day implementation.
- Support staff in handling difficult cases, community challenges, and referrals.
- Monitor project activities, indicators, targets, outputs, and outcomes.
- Identify implementation gaps and support teams in developing practical solutions.
- Identify training and capacity-building needs of field staff and communicate them to project leadership.
- Ensure activities are implemented as per project design, SOPs, training manuals, timelines, and targets.
- Support documentation, reporting, and communication with project leadership.
- Contribute to strengthening community-based mental health services and referral pathways.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, Community Development, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mental health, public health, community development, or social-sector programs.
- Experience in program coordination and team supervision.
- Good understanding of community-based implementation approaches.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel across project blocks and villages in Wardha.
- Computer skills preferred
