Learning Experience Officer
Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
Work mode: Hybrid
Role Purpose:
The Learning Experience Officer drives district-level implementation and institutionalisation of Quest Alliance’s Future Skills for Thriving Careers (FSTC) and Ethics-Centered AI curriculum. The role works closely with government stakeholders, schools, teachers, Master Trainers, and internal teams to strengthen adoption, quality, sustainability, and scale. As a key bridge between field realities and organisational strategy, the role builds government ownership, supports district resource mobilisation, monitors implementation, enables evidence-based improvements, and develops advocacy narratives. The position also strengthens cross-functional collaboration, documentation, reporting, learning, and people practices, while contributing to regenerative leadership and a culture of continuous learning, accountability, inclusion, and shared ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Government Engagement & Program Institutionalisation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with district and state government stakeholders to strengthen ownership of the FSTC and Ethics-Centered AI curriculum.
- Facilitate government permissions, joint monitoring visits, stakeholder meetings, and participation in program events.
- Integrate FSTC into relevant government forums, plans, policies, budgets, and resource-allocation mechanisms.
- Capture government feedback and translate insights into program design and implementation improvements.
District Ecosystem Development & Implementation
- Drive district-level adoption of Future Skills by strengthening Master Trainers, educators, District Resource Groups, schools, and other local stakeholders.
- Support training and capacity building of educators and Master Trainers to enable quality curriculum implementation across schools.
- Conduct regular field and school visits to monitor implementation quality, identify challenges, and strengthen district leadership and ownership.
- Support the development of demonstration schools and district-level innovation practices that contribute to long-term sustainability.
Monitoring, Reporting & Program Quality
- Work closely with Program, M&E, and other teams to track implementation progress, quality, outcomes, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure timely and accurate government reports, progress updates, documentation, and program records.
- Collect and synthesise field insights, stakeholder feedback, case studies, photographs, and videos to strengthen learning and decision-making.
- Use evidence and field realities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and program responsiveness.
Advocacy, Visibility & Resource Mobilisation
- Develop and implement district-level advocacy and visibility strategies to position Future Skills as an important part of the secondary education ecosystem.
- Build government champions and represent Quest’s work in government, CSO, media, and other relevant forums.
- Create pathways for district-level achievements and learning to gain state-level visibility and recognition.
- Influence district-level resource allocation and mobilise government resources for venues, training, infrastructure, technology, and other program requirements.
Collaboration, Leadership & Organisational Learning
- Collaborate across Program, M&E, Communications, Finance, People, Admin, and other functional teams to ensure integrated and effective delivery.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, continuous feedback, learning, and well-being within the team.
- Support goal setting, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and development of team members.
- Contribute field insights to organisational strategy, innovation, systems improvement, and regenerative leadership while ensuring adherence to organisational policies and processes.
Required Experiences & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management, or a related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in education, skilling, program implementation, training, or the development sector.
- Strong experience in government engagement and stakeholder management, preferably within the school education ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to manage district-level programs, teacher training, curriculum implementation, and field operations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, advocacy, and presentation skills.
- Ability to use data, field insights, and stakeholder feedback to improve program quality and influence decision-making.
- Strong systems thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, ownership, and digital proficiency, with willingness to travel extensively across districts.

Salary:
The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 35,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
