Sahabhagi Vikash Abhiyan (SVA) is a Non- Profit Organization working in rural and tribal areas of Odisha for over three decades, focusing on sustainable livelihoods, agriculture, horticulture, natural resource management and community development.

Job Description
The WADI Project Coordinator will function as the Team Leader, responsible for overall project implementation, field operations, team supervision and achievement of project targets. The position requires strong leadership, proactive field engagement and the ability to independently manage project activities and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the overall implementation of the WADI project in accordance with approved plans and NABARD guidelines.
- Supervise, guide and monitor Field Staff and Community Resource Persons (CRPs), ensuring clear work allocation, regular field engagement and accountability.
- Undertake regular field visits to project villages and WADI plots to monitor plantation, fencing, gap filling, plant survival, intercrops and other project activities.
- Ensure achievement of project targets, including the prescribed plant survival rate of more than 90%.
- Prepare and monitor monthly and weekly work plans, review team performance and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation, MIS updates, geo-tagged photographs and timely submission of progress reports.
- Coordinate with NABARD, government line departments, KVK and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify field-level challenges, take timely corrective measures and report critical issues to the management.
- Strengthen farmer participation and community institutions and facilitate convergence with relevant government programmes.

Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Horticulture, Rural Development, Social Work or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in rural development, tribal livelihoods, horticulture or natural resource management projects.
- Experience in team leadership, field coordination and project implementation.
- Experience in NABARD-supported WADI/TDF projects will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, documentation, computer and report-writing skills.

Work Requirements
This is a field-oriented leadership position requiring approximately 70% field visits and 30% office-based work. The candidate must be willing to travel extensively.

Remuneration
Rs.25000 monthly gross salary.
