Require a competent person of masters in social work or rural development, having at least 3 years experiences in rural development on issues of child protection, gender and crosscutting issues, there is no age bar in this case. Work place is in Digambarpur gram panchayat of Pathar Pratima block of Sundarbans.
The job description is as under:
1. Prepare weekly or monthly plan of action on the project related works to be done in line with reaching the objectives and mission of the project of ‘Amplifying Community Voices’ and the organization.
2. To plan for stakeholder mapping is to be in line with line departments, office of the panchayat and block development, offices of the districts and states to make link with the collective leaders analyzing the needs to access the social security schemes and other facilities with production of proper evidences. To contact and meet the local administrations and other stakeholders to ensure their support and cooperation as needed in project implementation.
3. Regular contact and communicate with co-workers of the organization, and visit the field to know and share the information of the project related activities carried out. And communicate with superior on the same on regular basis giving updates.
4. Preparing monthly/ quarterly activities report of the project as per the prescribed format and send it to the higher authority/nodal agency, regular communicate with them with project update on progress and problems.
5. With cooperative mind set and behaviour, attending and participating meeting, training, workshops, seminars on project and development related aspects and issues organized by this organization or partners of the consortium and other like-minded organizations.
6. Regular visiting the field, meet the people and stakeholders, understand the situation and define the strategy of implementation of the project and sharing information with the higher authority. Being strategic and trying to mitigate the challenges faced.
7. Being knowledgeable and proactive with conceptual clarity, assist, inspire and cooperate with the subordinates on project related activities as per plan to be carried out in a time bound and result oriented manner.
8. Assisting the higher level with information and knowledge to prepare the IEC (information, education and communication) materials to be used as tools for effective project implementation. Organize and facilitate need based training for the staff of the project for capacity building in terms of human resource development in line with the development process.
9. Cooperate with the higher authority to monitor and evaluate the project activities, identify the problems and its mitigation. Keeping himself update always with local, national and global information on different issues and problems and its perspectives.
10. Overall, for effective implementation of the project, meet local administrations ensure their sincere support and cooperation in line with bringing about aspired changes in society. Collection of necessary data and information for the problems and resource identification, its entry and compilation and its effective utilization as a part of project implementation.
11. Proper documentation of all the project related activities done and changes happened at different levels for the project purpose, annual reporting, its reuse in preparation of project proposal, annual activities report preparation, documentary, brochure and literature for publicity.
