Project Background
Transport Aarogyam Kendra (TAK) is a physiotherapy clinic designed specifically for the truck driver community. Truck drivers play a vital role in India's economy, yet many live with untreated pain and health problems linked to their work. TAK currently operates in 8 states across India. In FY 2027–28, the project will expand to Lucknow and Jaipur. Alongside physiotherapy care, TAK raises awareness among drivers about financial literacy, government welfare schemes, and lifestyle changes for healthier living. Medicines are dispensed free of cost to beneficiaries at the clinics and during outreach medical camps.
Objective:
This RFP invites proposals from qualified and licensed vendors to supply medicines and medical consumables for two new Transport Aarogyam Kendra clinics in:
- Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
- Jaipur, Rajasthan
Scope
The selected vendor will supply and deliver the medicines and medical consumables listed in Annexure 1 for each clinic (Lucknow and Jaipur).
The scope covers:
- Supply of all tablets, syrups, topical preparations, dressing material and diagnostic consumables listed in Annexure 1, in the quantities indicated, as generic/salt-wise and Branded equivalents conforming to IP/BP standards.

- Shelf life – all items must carry a minimum residual shelf life of 24 months, or not less than 75% of the total shelf life, at the time of delivery.
- Labelling and documentation – batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date and MRP must be clearly printed on each pack. Batch-wise invoices and, where sought, manufacturer's batch test/analysis certificates must be provided.
- Delivery of all items to each clinic site in Lucknow and Jaipur, with packing, transport, insurance and freight borne by the vendor.
- Replenishment – capacity to supply top-up/repeat orders on a quarterly basis during the project period at the same quoted rates.
