• Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN)
• Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (YSRHR)
• Communicable Diseases (CDs) such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis ‘B’ & ‘C’
• Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

MAMTA HIMC invites applications for the position of Program Manager for the Parivartan Project, supported by Relaxo Footwears Limited, aimed at the holistic development of government primary and upper primary schools in Laksar (Haridwar) and Dehradun districts of Uttarakhand.
The project focuses on strengthening the overall school learning ecosystem by strengthening FLN among students, while improving students’ life skills, self-efficacy, health, nutrition and overall well-being. It also promotes STEM-based education through the establishment of STEM laboratories and mobile science van initiatives to enhance science learning outcomes.
Adopting a gender-transformative approach, the project seeks to strengthen institutional and stakeholder capacities through continuous mentoring, training and handholding support for teachers, parents and School Management Committee (SMC) members. It also emphasises evidence-based learning, stakeholder engagement and close coordination with the Department of Education to facilitate the documentation, dissemination and potential replication of effective practices, ensuring long-term sustainability of the interventions.
Scope of work:
Educational Qualifications, Experiences & Skills:
• Master’s Degree in sociology, social work, education, gender or equivalent discipline.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in community engagement and field-level programme implementation is essential.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Strong skills and ability to tailor messages for a different audience.
• High level of coordination and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
• Leading the team at district level.
• Planning and implementation of the project at the field level, Responsible for proactively monitoring and leading the project field team.
• Ensuring the appropriate level of quality work, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
• Managing communication with all stakeholders.
• Reporting the project's progress on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Liasoning with different departments of the education system at the district level.
• Must have basic computer competencies and data presentation skills.
Must have strong report-writing skills
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
• Ability to develop and tailor communication messages and presentations for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Strong coordination, multitasking, team management and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Lead, supervise and provide guidance to the project implementation team at the field level.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee project activities at the field level, ensuring effective implementation and timely achievement of targets.
• Proactively monitor field-level activities and provide regular mentoring and guidance to the project team.
• Ensure quality implementation of project activities within the approved timelines and budget, in accordance with the project plan.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit timely monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, along with relevant project documentation.
• Liaise and coordinate with various departments and officials of the Education Department at the district and block levels.
• Manage field-level procurement processes, ensuring adherence to organisational procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare, compile and verify monthly bills, invoices and supporting financial documents related to project activities and field-level expenditures.
