About the Project
Project PRAGATI is a rural development initiative focused on pond rejuvenation, natural farming, nutrition gardens, livestock-based livelihoods, and skill development for women artisans. The project aims to enhance environmental resilience, agricultural productivity, and community self-reliance in two villages of Moga, Punjab.

Position: Field Coordinator
Number of Positions: 1 Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based (12 months) Reporting To: Project Director & Sharan Foundation Management

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day implementation of project activities in target villages.
• Facilitate formation and strengthening of Village Development Committees (VLDCs).
• Support baseline, midline, and endline surveys including household, pond, soil, and livelihood assessments.
• Organize and monitor training programs (natural farming, skill development, livestock care).
• Supervise construction activities (pond renovation, soakpits, demo farms, nutrition gardens).
• Ensure proper documentation: geo-tagged photos, beneficiary records, financial utilization, and progress reports.
• Liaise with government departments (Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Water & Sanitation, KVK).
• Mobilize community participation and contributions (cash, kind, labour).
• Prepare monthly progress reports and assist in monitoring visits.

Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of field experience in rural development projects.
• Strong skills in community mobilization, training facilitation, and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (farmers, women artisans, government officials).
• Proficiency in Punjabi (local language essential).
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, email communication).
• Willingness to travel and work extensively in villages.

Remuneration
• Consolidated monthly salary: ?20,000 (based on experience).
• Travel and field allowances as per project norms.
