Position: Unit Head - Proposal Development
Location: Lucknow/ Delhi

AMS (www.amsindia.org) is a research-based consulting organisation, working with various Govt. Departments and International Agencies (World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, WFP, etc.). Our major areas of work include Public Health, Livelihoods, Water & Sanitation, Financial Inclusion, Education, Rural Development, Women & Child Development, Nutrition, etc.
To strengthen our Proposal Development Unit, we require –
Unit Head - Proposal Development
Lucknow/ Delhi
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyse bid documents in order to identify potential assignments to bid for
- Understand client requirements and check our eligibility against the criteria given in the bid
- Prepare detailed queries to be raised in the pre-bid meetings
- Participate in the pre-bid meetings and to get proper redressal of the queries
- Work in close coordination with the Proposal Development Team
- Assure quality of proposals being submitted and offer suggestions for enrichment to the team
- Monitor the bid outcomes and scores to identify areas for improvement
- The position requires travelling for client meetings as per need
Requirements:
- Excellent command over written & verbal English (both grammar and language), to be adjudged through an English Writing Ability Test
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines under tight deadlines
- Postgraduate in any discipline, preferably MBA/PGDM, from a reputed institution
Eligibility:
Min. 5 years of relevant work experience (Proposal Development with a knowledge-based service sector organisation, preferably in a research or consulting firm)
Remuneration:
This is a full-time regular position with a remuneration of Rs. 12.0 lakh per annum
