We are building equitable ecosystems that mainstream inclusion of over 200 million Indians with learning disabilities, unlocking their potential as they transition from classrooms to pursue careers—careers that fuel innovation, economic growth, and drive India’s journey to Viksit Bharat 2047.
We believe their contributions are vital for India to reach a $10 trillion economy. After all, despite struggles with language processing, dyslexics have shaped the world, constituting 40% of self-made millionaires and pioneering inventors.
 
Our mission is to establish inclusive ecosystems that not only support these individuals, but unlock their true potential, from early stages to their careers. Engaging with diverse stakeholders, including individuals, parents, educators, employers, policymakers, and industry leaders, our interventions include:
  • Strengthening public policy and governance for systems transformation
  • Providing advisory services to institutional partners
  • Building capacities of stakeholders
  • Implementing catalytic lighthouse programmes to plug gaps
  • ChangeInkk the narrative through sensitization and advocacy
  • Undertaking research and publishing toolkits and reports
Since our inception just over three years ago, ChangeInkk has rapidly emerged as a catalyst for systemic inclusion in India.
  • Our inclusion approach has been showcased to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and actively engaged with 5 Ministries, 10 government departments, and 6 States & UTs.
  • Through our #Speak4Dyslexia and #Act4Dyslexia campaigns, we have inspired widespread government and industry adoption, achieving an organic reach of over 1 billion people.
  • 50+ critical policies passed, unlocking ?500 Cr+ for inclusive education for SLDs 
  • Enabled  87% reduction in the SLD diagnosis time
  • SLD inclusion embedded in national tech and AI missions, aligning education with workforce readiness , strengthened the ecosystem to develop AI-driven solutions to address SLD needs at scale.
  • Enabled a nationwide 60% increase in teachers trained to educate children with special needs, including SLDs.
  • Partnered with the Department of Higher Education to launch a National Scheme ensuring every centrally funded institute is inclusive for students with SLDs—already strengthening 130+ higher education institutions and 17,000+ faculty members.
  • We have built the capacities of 8+ lakh stakeholders and supported 150 organizations to adopt a dyslexic lens.
  • Collaborated with 1,600+ employers and leading industry bodies for #DyslexicThinking powered workforce
  • Designed and implementing lighthouse programs for early identification of SLD, transforming education institutions to be inclusive exemplar institutions (school & higher ed).
In just four years, these milestones mark the beginning of our journey to transform India into a truly inclusive nation—where dyslexic potential fuels innovation and economic growth.
 
About the Role
  • Lead and strengthen ChangeInkk’s communications strategy and institutional voice- both online and offline.
  • Translate complex policy, research, and systems transformation work into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Shape how ChangeInkk’s work is communicated across government platforms, ecosystem partners, digital channels, and national conversations on education reform.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop strategic communications, thought leadership, and public engagement.
  • Combine strategic planning with hands-on execution across content creation, media engagement, digital storytelling, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support the visibility and influence of ChangeInkk and the #Act4Dyslexia mission within the education and social impact ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
 
Institutional Positioning & Strategic Communications
  • Develop and execute the communications strategy of ChangeInkk as a leading voice on inclusive education to employment pathways for people with learning disabilities as well as organizational communications strategies aligned with advocacy and programmatic priorities.
  • Translate complex systems transformation initiatives into clear and accessible communication outputs.
  • Develop narratives around flagship initiatives, partnerships, research insights, and ecosystem collaborations.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across internal and external communication platforms.
Leadership Visibility & Thought Leadership
  • Support leadership communication and visibility across policy forums, conferences, and ecosystem platforms.
  • Develop briefing notes, presentations, talking points, and speaking materials for leadership engagements.
  • Assist with drafting op-eds, articles, interviews, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Maintain a leadership communications calendar to track speaking opportunities and engagements.
  • Strengthen leadership storytelling across LinkedIn and digital channels.
Content Strategy & Narrative Development
  • Develop high-quality written content including reports, policy briefs, articles, website content, newsletters, speeches, and social media content.
  • Translate policy insights, research findings, and programmatic work into engaging stories and accessible communication formats.
  • Lead end-to-end content development including ideation, drafting, editing, and dissemination.
  • Maintain a strong editorial voice aligned with ChangeInkk’s mission and advocacy priorities.
Digital Communications & Campaigns
  • Manage and strengthen the digital presence of the mission #Act4Dyslexia across platforms, including but not limited to website and social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Track performance metrics and optimize communication strategies based on insights.
  • Support the creation of visual storytelling assets including infographics, explainers, and short-form content.
Events, Campaigns & Strategic Amplification
  • Support communications planning for events, roundtables, launches, and convenings.
  • Develop event communication materials including concept notes, invitations, agendas, and post-event outputs.
  • Coordinate communications visibility for major announcements, partnerships, and campaign milestones.
Stakeholder Communications
  • Support communication with government partners, donors, collaborators, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Develop newsletters, customized updates, and outreach materials.
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across internal teams and partner engagements.
Monitoring & Communications Innovation
  • Track performance metrics across communication channels and campaigns.
  • Improve messaging effectiveness based on engagement insights and analytics.
  • Stay updated on emerging communication trends, storytelling formats, and AI-enabled communication tools.
Eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate preferred in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Media Studies, Development Studies, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5–7 years of experience in communications, media, digital storytelling, public affairs, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing, content development, and narrative building.
  • Experience managing digital communications and social media platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical, policy, or programmatic work into accessible communication formats.
  • Experience supporting events, stakeholder engagement, and public communication initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content and communication workflows is desirable.

Compensation
Remuneration will be competitive with the development sector's pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
