Duties and Responsibilities	Livelihood Enterprise Development: Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of multiple livelihood initiatives, including: Dairy-based livelihood restoration program Mushroom cultivation units Medicinal plant nursery and herb sales unit Craft production unit Food production and value addition unit Existing Livelihood Support: Provide continued handholding and mentoring support to livelihood groups already supported with soap making, cafeteria, mushroom units, beekeeping units, stitching units, etc from Phase I and II Market Linkage Development: Undertake feasibility and market studies, establish linkages with local markets, cooperative societies, resorts, hotels, eco-tourism facilities, and Ayurvedic institutions Technical Training: Facilitate and ensure training of beneficiaries on: Scientific dairy farming practices and animal care Eco-friendly production techniques Craft production methods Food safety, hygiene, and packaging techniques Traditional medicinal plant cultivation and processing Enterprise Sustainability: Provide hand-holding support to income generation programs until maturity as independent units, including financial training, marketing, and branding support Community Institution Building: Support the establishment and functioning of community-managed enterprises and production units as part of the circular economy model Value Addition: Support the development of value-added products, including dried mushrooms, mushroom pickles, herbal products, and packaged food items Infrastructure Coordination: Coordinate setup of production infrastructure, including cow sheds, processing units, equipment installation, and workspace preparation
Travel	As per role requirements.
Skills and Competencies	Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture, Food Technology, or related field 2-3 years of field experience in livelihood development programs, preferably in rural/tribal areas Understanding of sustainable agriculture, food processing, or enterprise development Experience in working with women's groups and marginalised communities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of traditional crafts, organic farming or food processing techniques preferred Residing in or being familiar with local communities in Wayanad is an advantage
Consultancy fee	Consultancy fee Rs. 40,125 per month (including TDS).
