Job Description
|
CKD is hiring a Cash+ Programme Analytics Lead for a large-scale maternal and child health and nutrition programme. The role will anchor the integration of cash transfer systems, programme implementation, and data intelligence, ensuring that Cash+ interventions are efficiently delivered and continuously improved through evidence-based insights.
This is an embedded role within the department, requiring strong engagement with senior government officials at state and national levels, and the ability to triangulate data across systems and translate analytics into clear, decision-ready insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme & Systems Strengthening
- Support implementation of maternal and child health and nutrition cash schemes across state, district, and block levels.
- Strengthen target setting, enrolment, verification, approval and disbursement processes across DBT platforms
- Develop SOPs, tools, and protocols to improve operational efficiency and standardisation of DBT schemes.
- Identify implementation bottlenecks and support resolution through system and field-level coordination.
- Document implementation challenges, innovations, and best practices.
2. Data Triangulation & Decision Support
- Triangulate data across multiple platforms (nutrition, health, DBT systems) to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Generate decision-ready insights for senior government stakeholders at state and national levels.
- Support programme reviews, planning, and strategic decision-making.
3. Data Management & Analytics
- Manage, clean, and analyse large datasets from programme and financial systems.
- Conduct disaggregated analysis (state, district, block, facility level) to identify priority areas and hotspots.
- Develop dashboards, trackers, and visualisations for real-time monitoring and reviews.
- Strengthen convergence between programme, financial, and outcome-level data systems.
4. Cash Transfer Effectiveness
- Assess timeliness, coverage, and efficiency of cash transfers.
- Analyse linkages between cash transfers and maternal and child nutrition outcomes.
- Identify and support resolution of systemic issues affecting payment success, utilisation, and beneficiary outcomes.
5. Capacity Building
- Build capacities of state, district, and frontline teams on data use, DBT processes, and scheme implementation.
- Develop tools and training materials to improve data quality and programme efficiency.
- As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the Cash+ Programme Analytics Lead may be required to undertake other duties as determined by state and national leadership teams

Qualification & Experience
|
Essential:
- Postgraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Statistics, Population Studies, Public Administration, or related fields.
- 10–13 years of experience in DBT systems, public finance, or large-scale government programmes.
- Strong understanding of fund flow mechanisms and DBT architecture (PFMS, SNA, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven programme management, analytics, and advisory roles.
Desirable
- Experience with women and child health and nutrition schemes at state and national levels (e.g., PMMVY, JSY, MAMATA etc.).
- Familiarity with DBT digital platforms such as PMMVY Soft, Poshan Tracker, and similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling complex datasets.
- Experience working within or closely with government systems at state or national level.

Contract Type and Period
|
This will be a fixed term contract.
The contract will be initially for a period of one year, extendable thereafter, based on performance. CKD is a fast-growing organization with a large portfolio of programmes across India and there could be opportunity for long term association for exceptionally good candidates on mutually agreed terms.

Compensation
|
The compensation package will be commensurate with qualification & experience and the last salary drawn.
