Role Description
PnP is seeking two dynamic and motivated Project Coordinators to support the implementation of agriculture-based carbon finance projects in Fatehpur and Prayagraj districts of Uttar Pradesh. The role involves intensive field engagement, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring effective delivery of climate-smart agriculture interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement project activities at the field level in assigned districts
- Mobilise and engage farmers for participation in carbon finance and sustainable agriculture initiatives
- Facilitate capacity building, training, and awareness programs for farmers and community groups
- Liaise and build strong working relationships with government departments, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Supervise field teams and ensure the timely execution of project plans
- Support data collection, reporting, and documentation using digital tools
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines, timelines, and quality standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate degree in Agronomy / Agriculture / Allied Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in carbon finance, climate-smart agriculture, or related projects
- Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and carbon projects
- Experience in farmer mobilisation and community engagement
- Proven ability in team management and coordination
- Experience in networking with government officials and institutions
Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in IT tools (MS Office, data collection apps, reporting systems)
- Ability to work independently and in rural field settings
- Willingness to travel extensively within project areas.
Additional Requirement
The positions require extensive field travel within assigned districts
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
