Role Title: Deputy Executive Director (Finance)
Location: CASP-Bhavan (Head Office), Pune
Reporting to: Executive Director
Supervises: Finance Teams at Head Office and Unit Offices (Pune, Mumbai, Raigad, Gujarat, Delhi)

Role Summary:
The Deputy Executive Director (Finance) will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial operations across CASP, ensuring robust financial management, accountability, sustainability, and compliance with all regulatory and donor requirements. He/she will work closely with the Executive Director and the Senior Leadership Team to support organizational goals and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership and Strategy:
• Develop and implement CASP’s financial strategies in alignment with the organizational vision and goals.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making at HO and unit levels.
• Advise the Executive Director and Governing Council on financial matters, risks, and opportunities.
2. Financial Management and Operations:
• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets for CASP and its unit offices; ensure timely review and consolidation.
• Monitor budgetary control processes, ensuring expenditure is within approved limits.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders, donors, regulatory authorities, and other partners.
• Manage the cash flow, reserves, and investments of CASP prudently and strategically.
3. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including Income Tax, FCRA, GST, Companies Act (where applicable), and other financial regulations.
• Establish and maintain systems for internal controls and risk management.
• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and donor-specific audits, ensuring audit findings are addressed promptly.
4. Grants and Donor Management:
• Oversee financial management and reporting of grants from national and international donors.
• Ensure that donor-specific accounting, fund tracking, and financial reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support Unit Staff teams by providing financial data and budget inputs for all proposals.
5. Capacity Building and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and build the capacity of finance staff across HO and all unit offices.
• Ensure standardization and harmonization of financial processes, reporting formats, and accounting practices across CASP.
• Conduct periodic financial training and orientation for program and project teams.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Works collaboratively with teams to align finance operations with programmatic needs.
• Plan and schedule visits to Unit Offices periodically to assess financial operations and utilization of budgets
• Represent CASP’s financial perspective with external stakeholders, including auditors, donors, banks, and government agencies.
7. Technology and Systems:
• Strengthen financial systems through adoption of suitable financial management software and automation of processes.
• Ensure effective use of financial data for strategic decision-making and reporting.
Salary :- 45 K to 50K
