About the Project
The Targeted Intervention (TI) Project is implemented under the guidance of the Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, aimed at prevention and control of HIV/AIDS among and high-risk populations through focused outreach, awareness, and service linkages.

Job Purpose

The Outreach Worker (ORW Male) will be responsible for field-level outreach and engagement with vulnerable populations, facilitating access to HIV prevention services, and supporting behaviour change initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Field Outreach & Community Engagement
• Conduct regular outreach visits to identified vulnerable populations
• Build rapport and maintain regular contact with beneficiaries
• Mobilize individuals and groups for participation in project activities
• Awareness & Behaviour Change
• Conduct one-to-one and group awareness sessions on HIV prevention
• Promote safe practices and risk reduction behavior
• Support condom promotion and awareness activities
• Service Linkages
• Facilitate referrals for HIV testing (ICTC), STI services, and ART centres
• Ensure follow-up and support for beneficiaries
• Assist in improving access to health services
• Support to Peer Educators
• Coordinate with peer educators for field activities
• Assist in micro-planning and outreach coverage
• Data Collection & Reporting
• Maintain daily field records and registers
• Support data reporting as per project requirements
• Ensure accuracy of data and timely submission
• Community Mobilization
• Support community group formation and strengthening
• Assist in organizing awareness events and campaigns
• Address stigma and discrimination issues at community level

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
• Minimum Graduate (Preference: Social Work / Sociology / related field)

Experience
• 1–3 years of field experience in health or development sector
• Experience working with vulnerable populations will be preferred
• Knowledge of local will be an added advantage

Required Skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in community settings
• Willingness for field travel
• Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS issues
• Record keeping and reporting skills

Remuneration: As per UPSACS/NACO norms
• Salary-10500
• TA-1500 as par NACO/UPSACS Norms
