Harsha Trust is a renowned non-profit organization committed to sustainable development, and community empowerment, primarily in Odisha, and Eastern India. For over two decades, we have worked at the grassroots level, focusing on tribal and marginalized communities, to drive transformative change in the areas of livelihoods, natural resource management, health, education, and governance. Our mission is to build resilient communities through participatory approaches, Innovation, and strong local partnerships.
Harsha Trust, with grant support from SBI Foundation, is implementing the 'SBIF LEAP: Climate Smart Livelihoods' project. This ambitious 3-year initiative aims to strengthen the climate resilience and livelihoods of 3,500 households across 70 villages in Kandhamal district covering 3 blocks. The project integrates climate-smart agriculture (CSA), renewable energy (solar), water security (INRM), agroforestry (WADI), and rural enterprise development to create a sustainable and impactful model for tribal communities.
Executive – MIS
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. MIS System Development & Management
- Establish and maintain project MIS architecture
- Develop village-wise and block-wise databases.
- Digitally track all community institutions and enterprises
2. Data Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor project indicators such as; Household income improvement,
- Area under climate resilient agriculture, Irrigation coverage, Enterprise establishment, WADI plantation coverage.
- Develop data dashboards and analytical reports.
3. Reporting
Prepare and compile:
- Monthly progress reports
- Quarterly donor reports
- Annual project reports
- Indicator tracking sheets
- Preparing all report of the programme
4. Field Data Quality Assurance
- Conduct periodic field data verification.
- Train field staff on data collection tools and reporting formats.
- Ensure gender-disaggregated and inclusion data tracking.
5. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Baseline and endline data
- Case studies and success stories
- Geo-tagged photographs
- Digital documentation for donor reporting.
- Any other tasks assigned by the organization and as per the need.
Qualification & Experience
- Postgraduate in Statistics / IT / Computer Applications / Rural Management / Social Sciences. 16 years of on-campus academic career
- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in development sectorMIS.
- Proficiency in:
- Advanced Excel
- Data visualization tools
- Power BI / dashboards
- GIS-based monitoring (desirable).
Compensation - 35,000 INR CTC per month approx.
