About the Organisation
Way Impact Consultancy Private Limited is a monitoring, evaluation, and consultancy firm working with development organisations and partners to strengthen programme effectiveness through assessments, capacity building, research and advisory support.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts and Administration Officer to manage the organisation’s financial records, statutory compliance, and key administrative processes. The position will work closely with management and external auditors to ensure smooth financial and operational functioning of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts and Financial Management:
• Maintain day-to-day accounts including vouchers, receipts, payments, and bank entries
• Manage bookkeeping using accounting software (Tally)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and expense tracking
• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments from clients
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing for all transactions
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and support management with financial information when required
• Maintain records of reimbursements, advances, and expense settlements
2. Compliance and Audit Support:
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and consultants for filings and audits
• Maintain documentation required for statutory filings and company compliance
• Support preparation of financial documents and records required for audit or reporting
• Maintain organised records of financial and compliance-related documents
3. Administration and Office Operations:
• Maintain administrative records including contracts, consultant agreements, and staff-related documentation
• Manage office-related payments such as rent, utilities, subscriptions, and service providers
• Maintain an inventory and asset register for office equipment and materials
• Coordinate procurement of office supplies and manage vendor coordination when required
• Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for administrative and financial documents
• Coordinate logistical and administrative arrangements for meetings, visits, and travel when required.
• Assist management in ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations in a small team environment
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred)
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in India
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
Compensation: Annual CTC in the range of Rs 5–5.5 lakh, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
