Project Brief:
The study “Building Healthy Food Environment in Schools; Evaluating Co-created Interventions in Low-Resource Settings” aims to understand the factors that influence students' healthy eating habits and develop a multicomponent intervention (MI) that promotes a healthier food environment. The study will evaluate the effectiveness of the MI, examine the intervention’s impact, and conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis to facilitate long-term adoption. The specific objectives are: Objective 1: Community engaged co-creation of a contextual MI to promote healthy food behaviour and environment in schools. Objective 2: Implement and evaluate the MI in schools in Nepal and India and assess effectiveness on the proportion of normal-weight adolescents as primary outcome and secondary outcomes such as global dietary recommendation score(GDRS), physical activity, and mental well-being score. Objective 3: Evaluate the implementation of MI using the RE-AIM framework assessing reach, adoption, implementation, and maintenance. Objective 4: Conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis to change BMI (from overweight/obese/underweight to normal weight), and improve GDRS.
Job Summary:
Coordinate with schools to facilitate and streamline data collection activities, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to project timelines while managing day to day project administration in close collaboration with the project team. Prepare and document detailed Minutes of Meetings, maintain accurate record and ensure timely communication and follow ups with all relevant stakeholders. Assist in the development and organization of training materials and provide continuous support to the study team to enable efficient and high quality data collection processes.

Under the guidance of PI, Co-PIs, the Consultant Field Investigator will:

• Travel as required.
• Any task assign by your supervior or PI.
Education:
Essential:
• Graduate in relevant subject/field
Desirable:
• Post Graduate in relevant subject/field
Experience:
Essential:
• 1 year of experience in conducting Public Health Research or programme implementation.
Desirable:
• More than 1 year of experience in conducting Public Health Research
Skills & Competencies:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in conducting trainings, meetings, and workshops.
