Position: Water Resource Development Specialist
Project: WADI Project
Duration: 1 Month (Short-term Assignment)
Remuneration: Rs. 25000 (Consolidated)
Other support: Free accommodation at office premises

Scope of Work

- Conduct field assessment in WADI project villages covering 300 acres.
- Prepare water resource development plan including suitable structures (farm ponds, recharge pits, diversion channels, check dams, irrigation support, etc.)
- Prepare cost estimates and implementation plan for all proposed structures
-Identify and facilitate convergence with government schemes (MGNREGA, watershed, horticulture, agriculture department, etc.)
- Coordinate with field team, farmers, and local stakeholders for implementation
- Support execution of approved water resource structures in the field
- Supervise work progress and ensure technical quality of structures
- Provide layout marking and on-site technical guidance
- Monitor daily/weekly progress of works across WADI areas
- Troubleshoot field-level issues during execution
- Ensure completion of planned works within timeline
- Maintain documentation including farmer-wise status, progress tracking, and photographs
- Submit periodic progress updates to Reporting Authority.

- Cost estimates and convergence plan
- Implementation schedule
- Execution and monitoring of structures in field
- Progress tracking report (farmer-wise / structure-wise)
- Completion report with status of works

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / Degree in Civil / Agricultural Engineering / Water Resource Development / Watershed Management or related field
- Experience in water conservation structure planning and execution preferred
- Strong field implementation experience desirable

Assignment Period (1st April-30th April 2026)

The specialist will plan, facilitate execution, and monitor the works until completion within the assignment period.

Remuneration & Support

Consolidated remuneration of Rs.25000 per month.
Free accommodation at office premises
Travel for field visits as per organizational norms
*No leaves allowed during the time period.
