Summary: To oversee, guide, and provide essential support to the Principal’s Office team in managing day-to-day government staff-related matters - i.e., payroll, employee files, leave, audits, school-related administration - scholarship proposals and reimbursements, FnF for government staff etc.

Finance Related Responsibilities
Oversee the team in ensuring timely submission of documentation such as pay bills, annual increments, arrears, provident fund records, salary recoveries, and supplementary pay bills
Maintain and manage accounts for the GIA schools , including assessment of non-salary grants.
Ensure the daily cash book maintained, ensuring it is signed every day for accountability
Coordinate with the accounts team and respond promptly to notes and queries from the government accounts department.

Compliance Related Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, code books, and orders issued by the government and management.
Comply and manage all rules, regulations, and government orders, including registrations renewals of all 4 schools, Healthcare and Skill Development Centre and regulatory reporting.
Provide timely information and reports to the government and relevant departments as required.
Organize and supervise internal as well as external assessments, and maintain service books for staff.
Prepare documentation for government audits and respond to audit-related queries efficiently.
Enforce staff regulations, oversee leave sanctioning and movement registers, and ensure staff educational and skills upgrades and CRE training.
Maintain confidential reports, service books for staff, and support compliance for increments and final dues.

Student related Responsibilities
Oversee student admissions, maintain students information and record for Scholarship and other related work and update information on institutional portals.
Work with the Managers to manage administrative duties of the school section



Required Skills and Competencies
Qualification: B.Com. or B.A. preferably with 10-12 years of experience in the administrative and accounts work, Government rules and regulations and school functions
Leadership and staff management capabilities for overseeing administrative staff, and support teams
Strong organizational and planning skills for allocating resources, scheduling, and maintaining records.
Regulatory compliance knowledge, including school code book provisions and government procedural requirements.
Communication and stakeholder management for staff, and government liaisons.
