JEETA- Inviting Applications

JEETA is a not-for-profit women-led organisation started to challenge the stereotypes and social norms with strong belief, determination, and commitment to a vision of a just society where every individual is capable of guiding her/ his own destiny with full stretching her/ his personality.

JEETA invites applications from motivated and committed professionals, especially women, for the following positions at Barkote Block, Deogarh (Odisha).

1. Programme Coordinator (01)

Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall planning, implementation, and monitoring of programme interventions
• Develop annual plans, Detailed Implementation Plans (DIPs), and monitoring frameworks
• Provide technical leadership on women’s rights, gender, livelihoods, and governance
• Coordinate with government departments, partners, and external experts
• Ensure quality documentation, reporting, and data management
• Conduct regular field visits, team reviews, and learning processes
• Ensure programme alignment with organisational vision, timelines, and budgets

Eligibility Criteria
• Postgraduate/Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Gender Studies, or related field
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in women’s empowerment and livelihoods programmes
• Demonstrated experience in programme management, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination
• Strong facilitation, documentation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in rural and remote areas
• Openness to learning and working in a collaborative environment

Remuneration: ?45,000 - ?50,000 per month (as per organisational norms)

2. Associate Programme Coordinator (02)

Key Responsibilities
• Design and facilitate training modules and capacity-building initiatives
• Strengthen women’s collectives and support emerging women leaders
• Provide technical support on livelihoods (agriculture, livestock, diversification)
• Support field teams in implementation and problem-solving
• Facilitate convergence with government schemes and services
• Document best practices and support reporting and learning processes

Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate in Social Work, Agriculture, Rural Development, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in livelihoods and/or women’s empowerment
• Experience in training facilitation and community engagement
• Basic understanding of government schemes related to livelihoods and social security
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to travel and stay in rural areas as required

Remuneration: ?30,000 – ?35,000 per month (as per organisational norms)

3. Field Coordinator (04)

Key Responsibilities
• Mobilise women (especially single women, Adivasi and PVTG communities) into collectives
• Facilitate village-level meetings, trainings, and awareness activities
• Support community members in accessing rights, entitlements, & livelihood opportunities
• Promote participation in Gram Sabha, Palli Sabha, and local governance processes
• Maintain regular field engagement and household-level follow-up
• Collect and maintain field-level data and records

Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate in any discipline (Social Work / Rural Development preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community mobilisation or grassroots programmes
• Good communication skills in Odia; local language preferred
• Basic understanding of government schemes and village-level processes
• Willingness to travel and work in remote rural areas
• Basic documentation and reporting skills

Remuneration: ?20,000 – ?25,000 per month (as per organisational norms)

4. Associate Finance Manager cum Admin In-charge (01)

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, accounting, and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, & organisational financial policies
• Prepare financial reports, utilisation certificates, and support donor reporting
• Oversee administrative functions including procurement, office management, and vendor coordination

Eligibility Criteria
• Accounting and financial management
• Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel
• Administrative and office management skills
• Record keeping and compliance support
• Attention to detail and accountability

Remuneration: ?15,000 – ?18,000 per month (as per organisational norms)
