About the Organisation:
LIVE FOUNDATION is a women-led development organisation working in Jharkhand on community-led governance, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable livelihoods. The organisation integrates ecological restoration with local self-governance systems, ensuring long-term community ownership and resilience.
Project Overview:
Project ARANYA, supported under the HCLTech Grant (Biodiversity Category), focuses on ecological restoration, biodiversity conservation, and strengthening Gram Sabha-led governance systems in forest landscapes of West Singhbhum.
Positions Open:
Applications are invited for the following positions:
- Project Lead (1)
- Project Coordinator (1)
- Cluster Coordinators (2)
- Accounts Executive (1)
- MIS Expert (1)
- Subject Expert (Biodiversity/Forestry) (1)
- Village Coordinators (10)
Location Details:
All field-based positions will be located in Tonto Block, West Singhbhum.
MIS Expert, Accounts Executive, and Subject Expert may be based at the central/project office with regular field engagement.
Eligibility & Required Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in community mobilisation in rural/tribal contexts
- Working knowledge of biodiversity conservation / ecological restoration
- Practical exposure to Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR)
- Understanding of local self-governance systems (Jharkhand context preferred)
- Willingness to work in semi-dense forest and remote geographies
- Ability to engage with and learn from traditional ecological knowledge systems
- Must be comfortable with flexible working hours aligned to community processes
- Must possess a two-wheeler and know to drive it
Remuneration:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and role responsibilities. Candidates are expected to apply based on their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role.
