Roles and Responsibilities and capacity as Shelter Home Manager, key duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the shelter home.
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents.
• Supervising, training, and scheduling shelter staff and volunteers.
• Managing the shelter's budget and resources effectively in close liaison with the head office of the Maya Foundation.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining shelter policies and procedures, including a strict code of conduct.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and other NGOs, in close liaison with the head office of the Maya Foundation.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for internal assessment and funders.
• Providing supportive guidance and intervention to residents as needed.
• Working Hours Your standard working hours will be [mention schedule, e.g., 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday/24 hours]. However, as a manager of a shelter home, you are expected to be flexible with your schedule and be available for on-call emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
