Job Purpose
The Senior Communications Associate will be responsible for planning and coordinating Nayi Disha’s communication efforts to ensure alignment with organisational priorities and programmatic goals. The role will focus on developing structured communication plans, managing content and campaign workflows, and ensuring consistency and quality across digital platforms. Working closely with the Communications-Senior Manager and cross-functional teams, the Communications Lead will support timely execution, strengthen internal coordination, and use data and performance insights to improve communication effectiveness contributing to increased reach, engagement, and visibility among caregivers, partners, and other key stakeholders.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
>>Brand & Communications Strategy:
-Support the development and execution of the organization’s communications strategy, ensuring that all communications reflect the Nayi Disha’s mission and objectives.
-Collaborate with program teams to create compelling stories and narratives that highlight the impact of our work.
-Content Development & Management:
-Generate and edit high-quality multi-media content, including social media posts, reports, PPTs, newsletters, and other marketing and communication materials.
-Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant communication across channels.
>>Social Media & Digital Strategy:
-Oversee the NGO’s digital presence, including website updates, social media platforms, and email marketing.
-Implement and track digital campaigns to drive engagement and growth across key platforms.
-Use data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
>>Stakeholder and community engagement:
-Work with cross teams to source stories, data, and inputs and align messaging across programs and initiatives
-Generate leads and relationships with influencers, bloggers, and key stakeholders to strengthen digital advocacy and outreach.

-Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media

-Working knowledge of design tools like Canva, Photoshop, Adobe
-Analytics & performance tracking

Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelors degree in any relevant field or 3-4 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably in the NGO or social sector
-Strong writing, content development, and storytelling skills across multiple formats
-Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing strategies
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
-Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
