About Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM): Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM) is 56 years not-for-profit, secular, voluntary ISO 9001-2015 certified organization, based on Gandhian ideology, working for the development of the women, children and youth in the rural, tribal as well as urban areas of Andhra Pradesh. VMM is implementing different projects with various national and International Donors.
Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM), in partnership with the LLLF, is working on mental health. This initiative contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and focuses on NTR district of Andhra Pradesh:.
Position: 2 Supervisor (Rs. 16700) role is monitoring the community outreach workers and support them in awareness raising activities, identification of Persons With Mental Illness (PWMI), mobilize to access services, linking the needy to service, follow up, data management.
Key Responsibilities
• Refer cases requiring specialized intervention to counselors or relevant service providers.
• Ensure follow-up on referrals to track progress and outcomes.
• Collect data and feedback from the community regarding program activities and their impact.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including attendance, feedback, and issues identified.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Coordinator on outreach activities and challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
• Minimum qualification: A degree in Social Work or related fields is an advantage.
Experience:
• 1–2 years of experience in community outreach, social work, or grassroots mobilization.
• Experience working with children, families, or vulnerable groups is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse groups.
• Ability to build trust and relationships within communities.
• Knowledge of local languages (Telugu) is essential; English is an added advantage.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the project areas.

Position: one Community Outreach workers (Rs. 13800) role in engaging with communities to raise awareness, identification of PWMI, mobilize to access services, linking the needy to service, follow up. This position involves direct interaction with families, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct door-to-door visits, group meetings, and community gatherings to spread awareness about the project and its objectives.
• Identify persons and families in need of counseling or other support services.
• Refer cases requiring specialized intervention to counselors or relevant service providers.
• Ensure follow-up on referrals to track progress and outcomes.
• Promote awareness on mental health, education, and life skills through community campaigns and interactions.
• Disseminate information through various communication channels, including posters, leaflets, and digital platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including attendance, feedback, and issues identified.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Coordinator on outreach activities and challenges.
