About the Role: The Data Information Officer will be responsible for managing program data and information systems to support effective monitoring and reporting. The incumbent will work closely with the program and field teams, report to the Program Lead, and play a key role in ensuring data quality and timely information flow across the project.
Key Responsibilities: The DIO will oversee data collection, entry, and management for the children and youth program. S/he will maintain the MIS and generate periodic reports for program review and donor reporting. The role involves supporting monitoring and evaluation activities, preparing dashboards and data visualizations for internal use, and coordinating with field teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation. The officer will also assist in audits, compliance, and maintaining data confidentiality as per organizational protocols.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Graduate or Postgraduate in Information Technology, Statistics, Social Work, or a related discipline with 2–4 years of experience in data management or MIS roles, preferably in the development sector. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data management tools is essential. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in Hindi and English.
