Project Officer cum MIS- Solid Waste Management

Job Title: Project Officer cum MIS- Solid Waste Management
Location: (Pithapuram) of Kakinada District
Language: Telugu & English speaking and writing skills

Role Responsibility:
• Lead and manage Solid Waste Management (SWM) initiatives
• Ensure 100% waste segregation at household and center level
• Conduct community assessments and plan SWM interventions
• Coordinate with Panchayats for planning and budget allocation
• Engage youth groups for community participation and action
• Maintain MIS data and document impact stories
• Plan and conduct awareness sessions on waste management
• Develop IEC/BCC materials with government departments
• Identify and clear plastic waste hotspots in villages
• Organize campaigns, drives, and capacity-building programs
• Strengthen and monitor waste collection systems (SWPCs)
• Prepare reports and support surveys (baseline to endline)

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work/ Sociology
• Relevant experience in Solid Waste Management in rural context.
• Fluency in local language Telugu, English and Hindi and readiness for field travel.
• Strong community mobilization and training skills
