Organizational Roles & Responsibilities
1. Proposal Writer - Key Responsibilities
Identify funding opportunities from donors, CSR partners, government schemes, and foundations
Develop high-quality project proposals, concept notes, and grant applications
Coordinate with internal teams to gather program data, budgets, and impact details
Ensure proposals align with organizational goals, donor guidelines, and compliance requirements
Prepare logical frameworks (logframes), work plans, and monitoring indicators
Draft compelling narratives, problem statements, and justification sections
Review and edit proposals for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
Maintain a database of submitted proposals, deadlines, and donor communications
Support preparation of reports, presentations, and donor communication materials
Collaborate with finance teams for accurate budgeting and cost estimation
2. Program Manager - Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and oversee project activities as per approved proposals and timelines
Manage field teams, coordinators, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
Monitor program performance using defined indicators and ensure quality delivery
Prepare periodic progress reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
Ensure compliance with donor requirements, policies, and reporting standards
Coordinate with government departments, partners, and community stakeholders
Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient utilization of funds
Identify risks, challenges, and provide timely solutions
Conduct field visits, reviews, and impact assessments
Support documentation of success stories, case studies, and best practices
Strengthen community engagement and stakeholder relationships
