About the Role

The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for managing and strengthening a group of creche centers within a defined cluster. This role ensures that systems are not just running—but improving. You will work closely with Creche Coordinators and Caregivers (Didis) to drive quality, consistency, and impact across centers.

This is a **leadership role in the field**, not just monitoring but building systems, solving problems, and developing people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cluster Management & Quality Improvement**

* Oversee 8–15 creche centers within the cluster
* Ensure consistent quality across all centers
* Identify gaps and implement improvements
* Handle escalations (infrastructure, rent issues, safety concerns)

2. Team Leadership (Coordinators & Didis)**

* Supervise and support Creche Coordinators
* Mentor caregivers (Didis) through Coordinators
* Build accountability and ownership in the team
* Conduct performance reviews and feedback

3. Field Monitoring & Problem Solving**

* Conduct regular field visits across centers
* Observe sessions and give practical feedback
* Solve real-time operational challenges
* Ensure centers are functional daily

4. Training & Capacity Building**

* Lead or co-lead monthly training sessions
* Ensure training translates into practice on ground
* Support demonstration of activities and routines

5. Community & Stakeholder Engagement**

* Build trust with parents and local community
* Handle sensitive issues (complaints, conflicts, dropouts)
* Coordinate with Panchayat/Local stakeholders when needed

6. Data, Reporting & Systems**

* Ensure accurate and timely data reporting
* Track attendance, child progress, and center performance
* Use data to identify patterns and improve outcomes

Skills & Qualifications**

* Graduate preferred (Education/Social Work background is a plus)
* 2–5 years experience in field program management
* Experience managing teams is strongly preferred
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
* Comfortable with travel and rural field conditions
* Basic digital/reporting skills
