Program Manager Wanted
Debora Foundation India is a dedicated non-profit committed to breaking the cycle of poverty. We focus on providing quality education for underprivileged children and vocational training for women, empowering them to build sustainable futures.

We are looking for a visionary and experienced Program Manager to lead our initiatives in Karnataka.

Position Overview
Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Bangalore (with frequent travel to project sites in Doddaballapur and surrounding areas)

Key Responsibilities
As the Program Manager, you will be the driving force behind our community impact. Your role includes:

Strategy & Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of education and skill development programs.

Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain partnerships with government bodies, community leaders, and stakeholders.

Team Leadership: Guide and mentor field teams to ensure high-impact, community-based delivery.

Operational Oversight: Manage budgets, timelines, and reporting to meet donor and organizational standards.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular field visits to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure accountability.

Capacity Building: Facilitate workshops for staff and community members to enhance skills and leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who brings both expertise and empathy to the role:

Education: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant program management experience, ideally within the NGO sector.

Focus: Proven track record of working with marginalized communities, specifically women and children.

Languages: Fluency in English and Kannada (written and spoken) is essential.

Skills: Strong leadership, proficiency in report writing/proposal development, and a knack for creative problem-solving.
