You will come with
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, donor engagement, philanthropy, business development, or innovative financing within the international development and social impact sector.
- Strong networks and proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across philanthropy, government, multilaterals, corporates, and impact investment ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of evolving donor landscapes, CSR and venture philanthropy trends, blended finance, and cross-sector partnership models across Asia.
- Demonstrated success in building high-value partnerships, regional collaborations, multi-country initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and external representation skills, with the ability to shape ideas into actionable opportunities.
- Fluency in English (Reading, Writing & Oratory Skills) is a prerequisite. Proficiency in a major Asian language is an advantage.
About the role
This is a high-impact role for a senior professional who is comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, analysis, and influence. The successful candidate will combine strong business and political acumen with the ability to assess trends, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and translate promising ideas into actionable regional and multi-country opportunities. Working closely with Regional Director, Asia, in this role you will be responsible to :
- Identify and unlock strategic growth opportunities, innovative financing models, and high-value partnerships across Asia’s evolving development and philanthropy landscape.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with donors, governments, philanthropic networks, private sector leaders, development banks, and regional platforms to advance large-scale nutrition and health impact.
- Drive market intelligence and strategic analysis on donor priorities, geopolitical shifts, sector trends, and competitive positioning to inform organizational strategy and investments.
- Shape compelling partnership narratives, business cases, pitch decks, and multi-country proposals that convert ideas into actionable opportunities and funding pathways.
- Position the organization as a thought leader through strategic engagement in regional forums, summits, coalitions, and cross-sector partnerships across Asia.
- Enable stronger regional alignment by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic coordination across country offices, regional leadership, and global teams.
- Support long-term organizational growth by building future-facing partnerships and innovative models that expand influence, sustainability, and impact in a rapidly changing development ecosystem.
