We invite applications for various positions in Operations roles for our Bhopal campus.

Azim Premji University, Bhopal started operations in August 2023, offering postgraduate and undergraduate programs. The first phase of campus construction is complete and the overall 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art academic and residential facilities will be ready over the next few years. We expect to grow to about 4000 students and 500 members over the next few years.
We are expanding our programme offerings and are inviting applications for various operational roles at the University. We will offer members an enriching and fulfilling institution building experience with opportunities for setting up and implementation of key institutional processes, culture building and participation in various institutional bodies.
We are currently looking for potential candidates for the following roles:
1. Resident Executive:
The role of a Resident Executive is to manage daily operations and management of student residences to ensure smooth functioning and create a safe and supportive living environment for the students.
2. Placements Executive- Training and Operations:
As an Executive for Training & Operations in Placements, you will support the University’s placement initiatives by designing and coordinating structured pre-placement training programmes and skill development activities. The role involves close collaboration with academic departments, effective management of training logistics, data tracking and analysis, and ensuring alignment between student preparedness and placement requirements. In addition, you will be actively involved in coordination of the campus placement process.
3. Alumni:
The role involves building and strengthening relationships with alumni, facilitating engagement initiatives, and supporting the development of a vibrant alumni network. This includes organising alumni events, maintaining alumni data, and enabling meaningful connections between alumni and the University community.
4. Outreach:
As an Admissions Outreach Associate, you will be the bridge between the University and young people seeking meaningful futures. You will energise classrooms, lead workshops, partner with schools, and represent our mission across the region. We are looking for strong communicators who love meeting people, enjoy travel, and bring at least 2 years of outreach experience.
5. Academic Administrator:
This is a role for overall academic administration which includes assessments and grading. This is an individual contributor role.
6. Occupational Minor Coordinator:
The role involves building and nurturing relationships with external organisations to facilitate field immersion courses, internships, volunteering opportunities, and placements for students. The coordinator acts as a key point of contact between organisations, faculty, students, and the placement cell, while supporting students through internship processes, expense verification, workplace orientation, and job preparation. The role also includes maintaining a database of partner organisations and coordinating opportunities aligned with students’ interests and programme requirements.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A graduate or postgraduate degree
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general IT skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
