Salary: 60,000 per month

Job Summary

SAME Foundation is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Hapur. The selected candidate will work closely with rural communities, livestock owners, and Farmer Service Centres (FSCs) to improve animal health, promote scientific livestock management practices, and support community-based veterinary services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide veterinary consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for livestock.
- Conduct regular field visits in villages and interact with farmers and community members.
- Organize animal health camps, awareness sessions, and vaccination/deworming drives.
- Guide farmers on animal nutrition, disease prevention, breeding, and overall livestock management.
- Support the Foundation in implementing livestock development and community outreach programs.
- Coordinate with Field Officers and other stakeholders for effective implementation of activities.
- Maintain records of field visits, treatments, and awareness programs.
- Prepare reports and submit regular updates to the management.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with the Veterinary Council.
- Experience in livestock health, rural development, or community-based veterinary services will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within rural areas.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
