Gram Niyojan Kendra is engaged in community development, and grassroots-level implementation of development programmes. The organisation works closely with government departments, panchayati raj institutions, and local communities to design and deliver projects aimed at sustainable rural development.

Position Summary
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative, logistical, and office management functions of the organisation, ensuring smooth coordination between programme teams, field offices, and external stakeholders. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
• Office Administration: Manage day-to-day office administration, including maintenance of office records, filing systems, and correspondence.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Supervise procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services; maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments.
• Human Resource Support: Maintain personnel records, attendance, leave records, and support recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Finance Coordination: Assist in budget preparation, maintain petty cash, and coordinate with the finance team for bills, vouchers, and reimbursements.
• Logistics & Event Coordination: Organise meetings, workshops, and training programmes, including logistics, venue booking, and travel arrangements.
• Liaison & Coordination: Liaise with government offices and other stakeholders for administrative and regulatory matters.
• Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance related to office administration, licenses, and organisational documentation.
• Asset & Facility Management: Maintain asset registers, inventory records, and oversee upkeep of office premises and vehicles.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic administrative reports and support the management team with data and documentation as required.

Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in administration, preferably with an NGO, development sector organisation, or government project.
• Prior experience of working in rural development programmes will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email/office management tools.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including government officials and

community representatives.
• Sound understanding of office administration, procurement, and basic financial processes.
• Willingness to travel to field/project locations as required.

Compensation
Monthly salary INR 25000. Benefits as applicable.
