Bihar Gramin Jagrukta Abhiyan Samiti (BGJAS) is a registered society actively involved in health and other social interventions in different areas of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, NCR, Jharkhand and Bihar with great enthusiasm and commitment. BGJAS is continuously implementing TI program funded by NACO/SACS & notified mother NGOs by MoHFW, Govt. of India. In term end evaluation of targeted intervention project BGJAS was awarded as grade ‘A’ in last 10 NACO/SACS independent evaluation and awarded best performing NGO in Bihar by BSACS. BGJAS having vast experience in the field of HIV .

Bihar Gramin Jagrukta Abiyaban Samiti (BGJAS) is being associated with many national and international organizations for holistic development of deprived communities. BGJAS was established as a NGO in 1990 by group of social activists who were inspired by the ideology for the Lt. Rajiv Gandhi, Modern India’s great leader, great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Binoba & Jai Prakash Narayan, where people should utilize their potential to bring sustainability of their socio-economic condition. BGJAS wants to promote a self reliant society where people should utilize their potential to bring sustainability of their socio-economic condition. BGJAS is inspired & guided by the Gandhian vision of “Gram Swaraj”.

BGJAS is engaged in development sector since last 32 years and work in different programs like, sect oral programs as MNGO such as RCH program, prevention and control program of HIV/AIDS, Prevention of parent to child transmission of HIV/AIDS, HIV testing, Flood Mitigation, NCLP, TSC, Women empowerment, Rights of Street Vendors, blood donation camp, Vitamin ‘A’, Pulse polio campaign, immunization of hepatitis A, B, IEC of HIV/AIDS, female feticide, education, disaster management , nutrition , women empowerment, Child Care etc. BGJAS also conducts adult education, female child education for non going school children. BGJAS are also active in prevention of women / girl trafficking and to promote the social, economical, empowered through vocational training and skill development training program. BGJAS is providing Short Stay Home for women suffering in adverse circumstances and also supports of free legal and counseling services.

POST : DRP
Qualification : PG in Psychology/ Sociology/ MBA/MSW/PGRD
Experience : Minimum 3 years in project management , health sector
Essential : MS Office , Laptop, DL, Own bike
Preferred : Experience in HIV sector
Salary : 21000 P.M. & T.A.
JD : As per NACO LWS Project Staff ToR
