Job Description

Job Title: Empower Programme Manager (Placement and Career Counselling of Young Adults)

Location: Lucknow

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 4-8 yrs

About Us:
“We want a world full of laughter and joy for its children. We want a world that is kind to its children.”

Sarthak Foundation started with the belief that no child should be left behind for being born in economic and social disadvantage. With a vision to have Happy Empowered Children, Sarthak Foundation reaches out to children to make them self-sustainable through education, social-emotional strengthening and skills, so that they are able to break out of abject poverty.

Our interventions are long-term, deep and immersive and we work with a child for decades. The impact of our work is life altering. As a conscious choice, we only take on projects that are long term and have the potential to bring about real change in the lives of our beneficiaries. Through our three interventions - Yellow Rooms, Yellow SLATEs and Sarthak Gurukul - we work with some of the most marginalised children in U.P.

The Yellow Rooms ‘Empower’ Program helps Sarthak children who have completed class XII take their first steps into higher education and jobs.

Sarthak is “Great Place to Work” , “Great Place to Work for Women” and “Great Place to Work - India’s Best NGOs to Work” certified.
• Conduct career counselling sessions to guide students on career pathways, job opportunities, and skill development.

• Connect students with career opportunities across the private sector, government employment, apprenticeships, skill development programmes and relevant government schemes.
• Represent Sarthak Foundation at corporate meetings, networking events, career fairs, and industry forums to build partnerships and promote the organisation's programmes and impact.

• Track student readiness, provide placement support, and maintain accurate records of students, employer partnerships, job openings, placements, and MIS reports using MS Office and Google Workspace.
