Join Itihaas as District Associate, and help school children discover the hidden treasures of their region’s rich heritage.

Position: District Associate
Location: Districts of Uttar Pradesh
Engagement: 5 months contract
Age Group: 26–40 years

What You’ll Do
Work directly with schools in your district to guide and support Heritage Clubs. Help children explore and celebrate their local history through interactive sessions, field visits, and creative activities. Use your storytelling or theatre skills to make history feel real and relevant. Material with which you have to work has been created and will be shared with you.

Who We’re Looking For
- A postgraduate degree in Indian History/ Sociology or strong, demonstrable knowledge of it.
- A background in cultural activities, performing arts, or creative communication is highly preferred.
- Experience of working with school children in any educational or cultural setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and local dialect.
- Computer proficient people.
- Energetic, self-driven, and passionate about community engagement.
