Senior Content Writer – SNA Section, MoHFW
National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on a contractual basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• The Content Writer will be responsible for creating engaging, user-friendly content that aligns with the best practices and supports the Ministry’s communication objectives. The role involves conducting keyword research to enhance organic reach and visibility, while ensuring all content is accurate, relevant, and consistent with the prescribed brand voice and tone.
• The Content Writer will stay updated on industry trends and digital communication practices, continuously optimizing existing content and contributing to the development of overall content strategies through collaboration and ideation with the broader team.
• The individual will undertake thorough research on assigned topics and produce high-quality, compelling copy across multiple communication platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
• Responsibilities also include editing and proof reading content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and stylistic consistency. In addition, the Content Writer will support high-level communications by preparing speeches, talking points, and briefing materials for senior officers & other officials of the ministry, ensuring alignment with policy priorities and effective public messaging.
Essential qualification: Graduation Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or Literature along with Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualification: Efficiency in both English and Hindi is desirable with knowledge of other Indian languages as an added advantage. Work experience of writing news reports, opinion articles, preferably for print media is desirable
Age limit: Should be less than 41 years as on 01.01.2026
Remuneration Range: Rs. 80,000/- to 90,000/- PM
Annual Increment: The Consultants are entitled to an annual increment @ 5% per annum, on renewal of their contract. This may be given for the five years of engagement of consultants in a particular level.
