Centre for microFinance (CmF) (http://www.cmfraj.org/), is a not for profit organization set up jointly by a group of development practitioners and academicians in conjunction with the Tata Trusts, Rajasthan state government departments and NABARD in the year 2007. It was conceptualized as a resource organization to catalyse the growth of the community-based microfinance and rural livelihoods in Rajasthan. Since 2015, it expanded its domain to multiple themes – education, nutrition and wash with the objective of enhancing quality of life of the underprivileged rural communities. In Education, CmF is making concerted efforts to create enabling physical environment and contextualized pedagogical processes in government schools and Anganwadis so that children enjoy the process of learning and develop strong foundational and elementary stage learning skills. In Nutrition, CmF is focusing on strengthening the public health system mainly Anganwadis and rural institutions through training and handholding support to the frontline workers and creating awareness among the community through counselling and participatory learning sessions. CmF is working with and extending technical support to the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Rajasthan Council of School Education (RCScE), Samagra Shiksha (SMSA), Rajasthan State Council of Education Research and Training (RSCERT), Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (RGAVP) for strengthening the education and nutrition specific interventions in the state.
 
CmF is deepening its education and nutrition work in select districts, with the aim to demonstrate scalable models on the ground and leveraging evidence and expertise to catalyse the systemic adoption of these successful practices for long-term, sustainable change.
 
CmF is looking for dynamic, dedicated and skilled professionals to bring change in the quality of life of poor through education and nutrition interventions with significant and sustainable changes in education and nutrition status among children and communities.
 
We are inviting applications for the following positions/roles:
 
Position: M&E and Documentation Expert

Locations: Jaipur / Sirohi / Karauli / Remote
(We are also open to engaging suitable candidates as Consultants working remotely, provided they are available for need-based periodic field visits and trainings)
 
Salary: It would be competitive with market considering relevant experience, current and past CTC & professional qualifications.
 
Job Description: This is a common vacancy for CmF’s Education and Nutrition portfolios. Depending on the candidate’s expertise and capacity, the role may be assigned to a specific theme (Education or Nutrition) or a combined portfolio. The M&E and Documentation Expert will be responsible for the project monitoring, evaluation and documentation related tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operationalize the Logical Framework (LFA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the assigned projects. Develop data collection tools, formats and digital monitoring systems.
  •  Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports aligned with donor, government and internal requirements. Ensure reports are analytical and evidence based.
  •  Regularly document program processes, outcomes, success stories, best practices and lessons learned for advocacy with the Government and donors. Develop and document high-quality knowledge products including policy briefs, advocacy notes and presentations.
  • Support the coordination and quality assurance of assessments. Liaise with external research agencies/consultants where applicable.
  • Regularly clean, analyse and visualize field data, create dashboards to track the differential impact of interventions. Conduct reviews, document lessons for continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement knowledge management strategies to enable cross-learning within and across teams. Maintain a repository of M&E documents and knowledge resources.
  • Build capacity of project teams on data collection protocols, observation tools and the importance of data integrity.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as and when required. Assist CmF team and ensure convergence of CmF’s other portfolios.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master/Post-Graduate degree from a reputed institute in relevant subjects.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and documentation. Experience in Education/Public Health/Nutrition sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience in designing and managing digital data collection tools.
  • Prior experience of working with the government departments (ICDS, Education).
Skills & Competencies:
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and knowledge of SPSS, Stata, R, Power BI is a strong asset.
  •  Excellent documentation and report-writing skills in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable programmatic insights.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills & a team player.
  •  Willingness to travel to field locations for data validation and team training.
