About the Organization
Nari Gunjan (Women’s Voice), founded in 1987 by Padmashree awardee Sudha Varghese, is a Patna-based non-profit working extensively with the Musahar community. The organization focuses on women’s empowerment, education, and health. In collaboration with international partners, Nari Gunjan implements innovative programmes to mainstream out-of-school children and strengthen community development.

About the Project
The Health Clinic & Mobile Outreach Van initiative provides essential health services across Punpun and Bihta blocks, focusing on maternal and child health, preventive care, and community awareness.

Role Purpose
The Health Outreach & Documentation Officer will act as the link between medical teams, outreach staff, and community beneficiaries. The role combines operational outreach with systematic documentation to ensure accurate records, compliance, and effective coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily records of clinic and outreach van activities (consultations, diagnostics, medicines, referrals).
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for internal and donor review.
Document maternal/child health services, chronic illness management, and awareness sessions.
Support mobilizers in organizing health awareness drives across 39 villages.
Strengthen referral linkages to government hospitals and schemes (Ayushman Bharat, JSY, RBSK).
Coordinate logistics and scheduling of the outreach van and health camps.
Ensure compliance with project guidelines, audits, and donor reporting.
Document success stories, case studies, and impact narratives.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Social Work, Public Health, or related fields.
2–4 years of experience in documentation, monitoring, or health outreach projects.
Familiarity with healthcare reporting formats and government health schemes.
Strong MS Office and digital record-keeping skills.
Good communication skills in Hindi & English; local dialects preferred.
