About the program and role: PSMRI will work as the Sub-Recipient (SR) to the Global Fund TB grant where Karnataka Health Promotion Trust (KHPT) as Principal Recipient (PR) assumes a central role in bolstering the efforts of the Central TB Division (CTD) to combat tuberculosis. The Integrated Measures for Prevention and Care in TB (IMPACT) India project will focus on providing specialized programs in key areas, including technical assistance, community engagement, and capacity building. Major interventions will include TB Champion Engagement initiatives across 14 states and one UT, supporting TB Mukt Grama Panchayath activities in 13 states, and offering specific Technical Assistance to CTD for Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) and Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (PMTBMBA) activities nationwide. Additionally, there will be a strong emphasis on Capacity Building for NTEP frontline staff to enhance their ability to provide counselling support to DRTB patients. PSMRI will implement the program in 38 districts of 4 states focusing on TB-Mukt Gram Panchayat and TB champion activities.
The Manager – Finance plays a crucial role in supporting the financial and accounting functions of the project funded by The Global Fund, contributing to proper book keeping and accurate financial reporting and compliance with established policies and procedures of the organization and The Global Fund Financial guidelines

Essential Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and or Master's in Finance/Business Administration with specialization in Finance/Procurement/Administration
Essential Experience:
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of professional experience in development agency
• Experience in leading multi-state/national projects
• Experience in managing stake holders at District / State-level/national project
• Working experience in The Global Fund projects is desirable
Essential Skills:
• Good Interpersonal & communication skills
• Good analytical, spreadsheet and accounting software skills
• Knowledge of Accounting package Tally is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of statutory compliances of the development sector organizations.
• Budgeting, Forecasting, Review of Budget Vs Actuals and Financial Reporting
• Flexible with travelling as this position may require travel to Project locations.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Manager - Finance and the project team to ensure the successful implementation of the Global Fund project.
• Manage the daily operations of the accounting and finance function including month and year end-process.
• Maintaining books of accounts with proper voucher system and book-keeping by complying with standard accounting principles, the financial systems and procedures of KHPT, Statutory and The Global Funds Financial Guidelines.
• Verification of bills for payment ensuring the adherence of policies of the organization and the Global fund Guidelines
• Review of all advance payments and follow-ups for bills settlements
• Timely completion of financial review/ settlements/ online transactions/ reporting as per Organization & Global Fund requirements.
• Orient / communicate financial guidelines to programme staff for smooth functioning of program implementation as per the organization and Global Fund guidelines.
• Supporting the program staff in finalizing the program / Events Budgets and Projected Expenditure as per the planned programme activities.
• Support the program team in procurement and providing the logistical support to conduct the program activities (events, workshops, meetings) smoothly.
• Support the Manager-Finance in Internal Audit/Internal reviews/The Global Fund/Global Fund representative's/ the Local Fund Agent (LFA) of The Global Fund reviews.
• Support and coordinate in conducting capacity building trainings on finance to the project staff to adhere to the Financial Systems and procedures of KHPT and The Global Fund’s financial guidelines
• Carry out field visits for physical verification of assets/inventories and finance monitoring
• Closely work with Manager–Finance and Central Admin. team in adhering to organizational policies and procedures, The Global Fund guidelines, related to procurement, training, capacity-building activities, and other activities related to the implementation of the project.
