JOB TITLE: Communications Officer
 
LOCATION: New Delhi
 
SALARY: Compensation is not a constraint for the right candidate
 
Communications Officer is a strategic communicator who would work closely with the senior leadership in executing the communication strategy and developing rich content for the organization. The communication strategist would be required to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders within and outside to engage on a regular basis.
 
KEY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
•Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organisation's mission, programmes, and impact.
•Draft, edit, and disseminate high-quality content including newsletters, Annual Reports, flyers, case studies, and social media posts.
•Manage and grow the organisation's digital presence across social media platforms, website, and online campaigns.
•Create IEC materials, advocacy briefs, and develop collaterals including concept notes, presentations.
•Create content for organizational websites Developcontent, infographics, video and photo stories to showcase organization’s projects and Achievements
•Analyzing and reporting impact of communications on organizational success.
 
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION and RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
 
•Master's/Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Development Communication,or related field.
•Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience
•Professional communications experience (Essential)
•Experience of managing social media for an organisation or campaign
 
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
 
•Strong knowledge of Website development platforms (WordPress, Wix or equivalent) essential
•Strong Knowledge of running social media accounts for an organisation or campaign including strategic planning, posting, advertising and performance analysis
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
•Strong interpersonal skills and social values
•Knowledge of children's rights and women's rights
•Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Essential)
