Position Overview:
The Director- Human Resources shall be responsible for setting up and leading the Human Resource functions, including organizational development, talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management and benefits as per the Human Resources and other Policies in force.He/she will also ensure smooth functioning of systems and processes enabling environment for all associates to work efficiently, take initiative and collaborate with each other. He/she should efficiently undertake a variety of HR administrative duties, work autonomously to ensure the end-to-end HR processes and capture best practices.
To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department keeping in mind to the organization’s goal.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• To develop an annual organization development strategy in alignment with the Annual Action Plan and overall vision and mission of the organization.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance are met based on its applicability to the organization.
• Responsible for analyzing training needs, developing training curriculum and delivering training courses as scheduled as per defined training calendar
• Review and develop annual KRA and KPI as per the Annual Action Plan
• Ensuring talent acquisition by preparing the Key result area, Key Performance indicator and Job description of the position in consultation to Head of the department.
• Ensuring advertisement of position internally and externally (on job portals) after approval of Position requisition. Screening and shortlisting of candidate for the interview conduct background check and issuance of offer letter after completing the process.
• Ensure timely values and competency-aligned hiring and talent management to meet organization needs, as per HR and Recruitment policy in place
• Developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall program strategy
• Ensure regular internal communication, particularly between leadership team and HR team
• Undertake organization-wide initiatives to fuel creativity and initiative, ensure safety and wellbeing, and a regular reconnect the spirit and values of the organization
• To supervise, guide and develop the direct reports using performance management system o to build internal capabilities in both people and processes.
• Provide Support in the implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Additional Duties:
• To develop and oversee administrative procedures to guarantee effective workflows.
To oversee every aspect of the organization's support and administrative services.
Educational Qualification
Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration (HR), Organizational Development, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in Labour Laws, Organizational Development, Change Management, Coaching, or HR Analytics are desirable.
Experience
• 10–15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Experience in the NGO/development sector is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-location teams.
• Strong experience in strategic HR, policy development, organizational development, and labour law compliance.
