Position: Training Coordinator
Location : Banda ,Chitrakoot and Mirzapur ,Uttar Pradesh
Purpose of the Position
The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordination, implementation of all activities in the Community Health Education Project with the programme management team. She/he would also be engaged in any other initiative that benefits Community Health Facilitators and community I the context of Health.
Scope
The Training Coordinator would report to the program manager /Chief operations officer and would work closely with the project team in Bihar. The Training coordinator would also assist the project team periodically in reaching out to government officials in the public health domain.
Main Functions of the Training Coordinator:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordination of the Community Health Education Program for every month. The responsibility include training of CHF, planning and coordination of CHF training programs, content delivery, monitoring of CHFs, liasoning etc., Tasks normally carried out by the training coordinator on a regular basis would be :
• Prepare budget and monthly schedules
• Book training center
• Conduct training
• Follow up with faculty, update the content
• Maintain minutes of the program
• Follow up with trainees, field coordinators, mentors and health leaders at the field level.
• Consolidate all the reports from the training and field and send it to the head office.
• Follow up on projects
• Resolve issues
• Arrange logistics
• Training the new staff
• Project supervision and guidance
• Planning the field visit for the Health Education Training
• Planning Community Mobilization program with the community health care
• Planning the Health education session for the internship
• Conducting refresher programs
• Training the new staff.
• Use of MIS for planning and reporting
• Any other tasks / assignments given by Supervisor / Reporting Officer
Educational qualification: Graduate or post graduate in science/social work / health/ community health related subjects with about 6 months to 2 years of experience of working in community health related projects. Written and Spoken communication skills in Hindi and English are must. Knowledge of Ms Word and Ms Excel is essential.
Others: The job also requires extensive traveling locally. The candidate is also expected to carry a smartphone to meet the MIS requirement. HFF may endeavour to help candidates in buying the smartphone.
