Job Title : Programme Manager – Tata Trust

Position Location : Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (CSN and Amravati)
Nature of Contract : Full time
Period of Consultancy : 1 year plus extension up to three years

Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide overall project management by being responsible for the implementation, coordination, and documentation of the Urban risk resilience programme focusing on urban flooding, urban heat and other climate change issues.
2. Lead the team of development professionals i.e., Programme coordinators / officers to ensure timely and quality programme deliverables.
3. Responsible for design development, project coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the program.
4. Regularly review and monitor the project and ensure that the teams follow the project guidelines.
5. Maintain good relationship with relevant government authorities, Non-Government Organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
6. Conduct regular field visits to monitor the project implementation process and prepare periodic progress reports as required.
7. Ensure that project documents are complete, current, and maintained appropriately.
8. Produce relevant presentations and documentation to key group and relevant stakeholders.
9. Coordinate with internal and external for procurement of services for implementation
10. Development of new proposals for urban habitat risk resilience.
Qualification and Experience:
Postgraduate preferable, minimum requirement graduation in Architecture/ B.E Civil, Urban Planning/ Urban design/ Urban Policy. Experience in development sector is desirable. Minimum 5 years of professional experience. Coordination with relevant stakeholders for effective implementation and delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets. Ability to work professionally and independently with minimal daily supervision. Strong communication and documentation skills. Desire to work dedicatedly to achieve results in the field of climate change.
Knowledge of software's – MS office, Google earth pro, Adobe, GIS.
Language skills – English, Hindi and Marathi are preferred.

Internal relations: Habitat Improvement Team, Emergency management team, knowledge management and partnership team, finance, and HR teams of AKAH India
External relations: Community, Vendors, government agencies (municipal corporation) and academic institutional partners.
