Program Support – Job Description
Candidates: Female candidates only
Key Responsibilities
• Work with both the residential and city teams to organise, coordinate and monitor education and development support. This may include obtaining quotations and coordinating logistics for programs, events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Support documentation, data collection, follow-ups, and preparation of reports related to programme activities, educational and developmental achievements.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with the girls and provide regular input on their well-being, academic progress, and specific needs.
• Visit the non-residential girls in their homes, accommodation, colleges, and training centres located across the city as required.
• Assist in maintaining regular communication with colleges, hostels, training institutes, and other stakeholders when needed.
• Provide inputs and support donor management activities including grant proposals, cashflow management and reporting.
• Visit banks, government offices and any other locations in or around the city for official work. This includes coordinating with trustees for signatures, approvals, and documentation.
• Be flexible and available to support emergency situations or urgent requirements related to the girls or organisational activities.
Experience
• Female candidates only.
• Passionate about child rights, especially issues related to girls’ and women’s empowerment, education, and holistic development.
• Self-sufficient in travelling, either by public transport or personal mode of transport.
• Fluent in both Kannada and English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, email communication, and maintaining records.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
